Avenging Angels

I've posted these on a few other forums, but always enjoy showing off my Avenging Angels.

Both revolvers are Ubertis, this one is an 1851 Navy.

This one is an 1860 Army in .44 cal. Both are a blast to shoot. Nothing better then snubby black powder goodness.

What sort of groups are you getting with those at 25 and 50 yds.?

I like 'em! I'll bet they are a hoot to shoot! Curious . . . are these your CCWs? Thanks for posting the photos - Great photos of 'em - thanks for sharing.

The real fun is shooting them when it's almost dark, like mini flame throwers.

That. Sounds. Awesome. I have always wanted to shoot at night when I was out in the country, but haven't gotten around to it.

Did you refinish the grips? They don't have the very red tint that my Ubertis have, and I was tempted to give it a go. They look pretty good.

The grips were sanded down to match the worn look of the revolver. The work was done by a member of the Colt Forum. You should see his cut down 1847 Walker.

I bet that is a sight to behold.

I've always dug the looks of the Avenging Angels. I really like the 1860/Thunderer grip frame variant.

That being said, both of yours are gooooooood lookin'.
