Took Two Polar Opposites Out To Shoot Today

Decided to pull a few out of the safe that don’t get shot too much, and these were the lucky two.

What calibers are they?

I was picturing a Smith 500 Magnum and a North American Arms 22 LR With that subject line.

The Ruger Super BlackHawk is a .44 magnum, the Springfield Armory is a .45 ACP

That model of the Super Blackhawk was
carried by the main character in the movie
"Wind River."

He doesn't shoot it but he does draw it
when he suspects some trouble, either
two or four legged.

Otherwise he uses a Martin .45-70 stainless
lever gun.

Not such polar opposites. Both single actions ;-)

I was expecting to see pictures of a Pelosi supporter and a John Bircher.
Glad it was old school and new school!
(Nice Ruger!)

Bet the concussion from that .44 is an attention getter.

When I shoot this one inside, especially just punching paper, I use .44 Specials.
