Fast eyes. Speed shooting improvements.

Hi all,

I am a reasonably competitve Cowboy Action shooter (finish in top 3-4 at State and Regional shoots), typical stage times of 17-20 seconds for 4 guns/24-28 shots with movement.

I do some eye exercises and since its my 42nd birthday tonight, I thought I'd ask here for anything you all have found to help your eyes focus and aim faster.

Thanks for any responses.

Good shooting,
AJ

One good one is to put a stamp on a window and stand back about arms length. Look at a small object out the window about 20 yards aways or so. Focus on the object clearly and then focus on the stamp clearly. The key is trying to focus clearly on each item.

When I was shooting shotguns competitively there was a video tape called 'eyerobics' or something like that. Some of the older shooters were using it and having luck with it, I was in my 20's and thought I knew better.........
