In replying to another post I realized I'm a little heavy in the 12ga dept. If you had to keep only 2 which two any why, I'm struggling between cool factor(read; gun sniffing at range) and actual allround usability. What would you keep??

-Benelli M1S90 w/ 21" and 24" tubes
-Fabarm police model wood stock 20" 6+1
-remington 870 Police border patrol 14" w/ Speed feed PG stock(every bell and whistle)
-remington 870 police with top folder/factory wood 20" rifle sights extended mag tube
-remington 1100 shorty same as SGT swat model(every bell and whistle)
-mossberg 500 basic 18" with Pistol grip

Id ditch the pistol grip Mossy. Only becuase I think pistol gripped shot guns bite. I would keep the rest. But I have found that I am not the norm. I have a lot more shot guns than rifles. I think you need one for everything. I only really need a 06 rifle.

Which 2? Keep the 870s, but ditch that factory folder.

Obviously, you're keyed into the "Serious" aspects of shotgunning. 870s shine there, and keeping the same controls means only one set of "Chops" and less chance of going for ,say, the safety in the wrong place during a short time frame, close range crisis.

Dave, definitely good advice, it should be pointed out that up here in Canada there is no need for a crisis gun as the Liberal government will protect me from any harm which may come my way.<BSG>

OK, after much soul searching (read:money affered to me after Sat. gun show) I will be keeping the Fabarm, Benelli M1S90, and 1100. The Benelli works all the time and I have two Barrels for it, the Fabarm works great and nothing really needs saying about an 1100 that isn't already a matter of historical record. The two 870s fetched: $1000.00 for the 14" and $800.00 for the folder so I can't complain(those are Canadian dollars BTW). On to the next project, another AR15,1911 officers acp, orUSC Carbine??

Put a stock on the 500 and keep it and the Fabarm. Ditch the rest.
