I am considering mounting an Optima 2000 on either a Browning Hi-Power or on a CZ 75B. I would like to use the existing dovetail rather than a grip attached weaver style mount. Do you know of a source for a dovetail mount? Any suggestions appreciated.

Enigma, the only ones I'm familiar with are the ones like you describe or mounts that require drilling and tapping of the frame or slide. I think a dovetail mount could be fabricated but I don't know of one on the market. If you'd like to discuss having one made feel free to e-mail me. George

I like my Bushnell and EOT HOLOSIGHTS much better than my OPTIMA which I have not used or had mounted. I will sell the optima with
a standard weaver rail mount, a demo unit,
I got for 200. I would suggest the holosights although they are bigger. Would hate to use the optima for anything other than a bench rest guide site for a spotting scope or for static nonmoving target, target practice in a temperature controlled range.
