Ruger GP100 action prob
When firing my GP100, the hammer catches about halfway into pulling the trigger. It fires just fine, but there is always this catch/pause in the action. Any ideas?

First off, clean it well
I would completely break the gun down and clean it very well first off and then reoil it and see if this helps. I would have to hold it in my hand to know exactly what kind of a pause you have, but it may just simply be grit in the action.

Mine did the same thing. It was very pronounced, as you mention. I cleaned and oiled it thoroughly. That didn't help much. The fix for mine was a Wolff Spring Pak. I tuned it with the springs, then re-olied it, and it's been fine ever since. That was over 3 years ago, and around 1500 rounds or so. Although it still has that pause, it is FAR, FAR less noticeable.
