Argentine Remington Rolling Block 1879
I acquired one of these and received it today. It is in fairly good condition but is missing the cleaning rod. Anyone know of a source for the cleaning rods?

I have seen them pop up on eBay when I was looking for one for my Swedish rolling Block.

Thank you Tidewater, I acquired one from eBay even with it being a reproduction at a reasonable price.

What caliber is it ? A little bit back I bought a 43 Spanish. My gunsmith buddy shortened it to a 26" barrel and shortened the forearm to fit. It has a octagon barrel for the first 6 or 8 " then round. I'm a Remington man and always wanted one. Yesterday I added a peep sight. Haven't had a chance to shoot it sense.

It is the Argentine Infantry Battle Rifle in .43 Spanish. I have an order for ammo and plans to reload future rounds.
