Finally got my C&R FFL

It finally came in! Now it's time to buy some cool stuff!

Anybody else have theirs? What's the best online places to buy C&R guns?

Some I have bought from:

http://www.aimsurplus.com/*
http://www.aimsurplus.com/ (Accessories and parts)*
http://www.centuryarms.com/Century/home.htm
http://centerfiresystems.com/*
http://www.coledistributing.com/ (mostly in person @ Knob Creek MG shoot)*
http://www.empirearms.com/ (more high quality and collector C&R firearms)
http://mb.jgsales.com/
http://www.southernohiogun.com/*
*I have most often purchased from

Another mentioned often on TFL but I have not bought from:

Also send a copy of your FFL to Midway USA and Graf & Sons for a dealer discount on shooting supplies. The 03 C&R license is eligible.

Here is a link to another forum of interest to milsurp collectors and shooters.

Don't forget Classic Arms or Samco, either.

I will pry for ya!
Holding a C&R is a fast way to spending every spare dime and then some.
I placed an order last week with AIM and just went today to check the status and scrolled down the list of stuff I have bought from them and nearly died.
I would never have thought I had spent that much with them.
If I spent that much with AIM I sure don't want to know what I have spent with others - ROFLMAO!
After many years now with a C&R I have learned to say "NO" but dam it is hard at times.
Good luck and again I will say a prayer to the gun gods that you show restraint and good judgment.

Just in time! I got an email from J&G Sales this morning stating that CZ82 is back in stock. A very nice DA/SA compact 9X18 MAK chambered pistol with a 12 round double stack magazine. Great CZ quality in a modern design that thankfully due to a museum curator's letter to the BATF is a C&R!

My C&R license is why I do not play golf, have a new motorcycle, bowl, own a boat, skip meals, visit as many pawn shops as possible (for buying purposes) and wear old clothes. Life is good. Everyone needs a money pit.

Brownell's...

Dealer pricing on gunsmithing supplies is unbeatable.

Congratulations Big Tex. This is really the way to go. I would second getting the CZ82. Not just because it was my first C&R purchase. It is a great handgun with a good round that's easy to stock up on. They are really going up in price like everything else. And everyone needs the MN91/30, even one in Hex receiver. One other thing about the CZ82, if you get it make sure you order a few sears and sear springs from the CZ-USA site. Just letting you know.

Grats!

I agree Id probably get the CZ-82 first just because its such a nice deal. You really cant go wrong with that pistol for under 300 bucks.

Im pretty sure SOG just got more in and they come with an extra 12rd mag(279.95)

Keep us informed on what you get!

They did get a new batch in. (SOG/cz82) I have been on and off their site the past week and I think that new stock showed up yesterday. Even though I have one I always check to see if they are in stock. One other nice handgun that is very reasonable is the Polish P-64. You will probably never carry this or even shoot it much but I think it makes a nice addition to your milsurp handgun collection. And don't believe all that hype of how snappy they are in the hand. Any lover of the 9x18 can easily overlook that after the spring change.

What are the chances of that CZ 82 letter writer drafting one for the Bulgarian Makarov?

Looks like we're neighbors! I'm in Tomball and the in-laws live in Montgomery.

I'll have to look into the P-64. Been wanting a 9x18!

The CZ82 is definatley on the list. So is the hex reciever Mosin. I have a round carbine model. I like that one alot. But I really want a Hex and have been putting it off till I got the C&R FFL. Now it's time!

Yes we live in a great area. Gun Emporium is down the road but I prefer Carter Country on Treschwiel for my range shooting. Any decent ranges in your area?
