It's a good platform when you keep in mind what it's for.
That set up seems good for a truck gun given the folding stock, but the older Minis are infamous for being inaccurate after a string of shots.

good to know...put 30 rounds down range off the back porch last night (about 120 yards) wasnt really taking my time for accuracy, but all 30 rounds hit my old 20lb propane tank ill have to go throw a couple hundred down range tomorrow and see how she does....may just flip it, if i cant find its nitch...already have some ARs, AK, siaga, and some long range customs

I believe I would keep it even if there really wasn't a need as this is not a real common Mini. JMO

I believe that is a factory folding stock. You don't see many of those. I would can the scope though and have a great truck gun.

I thought the factory Ruger folding stocks were side folders like the AC556.

That isn't a Ruger factory folder. I've seen similar folders come out of Federal Ordnance, a private firm in California.

Its not a factory folder. I have one and it folds to the right side. Althouigh that wood does look nice. Did the seller also include the original full stock?
Enjoy the gun, they are fun to shoot from the hip.

As stated it's not a factory folder but I've heard good things about those folding stocks. I would keep it personally even if it's not a factory folder. What did the rifle end up costing you?

Google Accu-strut it will give you all the info. I think the strut was less than 100$ and very easy to install. Just give the mod. Mini and they will tell you what one you require. You can install it in about 15 min. just follow the instructions and you will have no problems. Where they tell you to use the blue loctite that they supply do it. I love mine and I still want to put a bipod on mine. Good luck and good shooting. Last edited by Lakota; March 4, 2013 at 09:38 AM. I recommend this for all mini owners. It really helps keep the barrel cool and eliminates stringers as well. I also like that it gives me more space to mount scopes, lights, etc...

I like the 40 round magazine. I have one that feeds flawlessly! What system are you using to mount your scope and what is that in the middle of the exposed portion of you barrel? Is that the front site?

The stock is worth almost as much as the rest of the gun it seems.
