Old Ruger At Nationals
Well I took the old Ruger old army that has a 45-70 barrel on it to the Nationals last week at Friendship Indiana. If you all remember I said I was
going to shoot it. Well I put up a pratcice target at 25 yds, and tried a few. Hand size groups. Not good enought. I then got out my .36 Rem. and used it. I got first in the 50 yd. match. This is the gun with a short 6 inch barrel. See target. I got second in the Revolver agg. Guess I just can't shoot the Old Ruger anymore. |

That there is some first class shooting.
You must be glad that you had a back up gun. Congratulations on shooting such a fine match! |

Big Boys
This is how the Big Boys shoot at the Nationals. This is 10 shots at 25 yds.
I did not shoot this. A friend of mine shot this and he is 62. This was shot last week. It did win 1st. I couldn't do this with a rifle on sand bags. Yes this is a Pistol match. |
