I have been carrying a Glock 22-C ever since they first brought them out. In fact, I got my Glock 22-C back in about 1993 or so and have carried it since then either concealed or as a duty handgun. My Glock 22-C looks like a first generation because it has no checkering or any of the later updates on it at all. I guess that just show how old I am...

I have carried a 3" Springfield 1911 since '06 ( when I got my carry permit). On rare occasions in the winter months (2-3 times in 6 1/2 years) I have carried my 4" GP100, but only when I have the bulky cold weather clothes on to hide its bigger size

S&W Mod. 37 for 35 years, and then gave it to my son. (Stupid is, as stupid does) Replaced it with a 642, and have been carrying it daily for the last 12 years. Offered to swap it with my son to get my 37 back, but he's a lot smarter than I am.

What is a 'primary' pistol?
Oh, That Colt .45acp 1911A1. I'd venture to say...oh...32 or 33 years depeanding when the offical count started. Is that long enough?

Been carrying my Kimber Ultra CDP for over 8 years now, ever since I realized I was a 1911 guy through and through, and didn't need that double-action first shot. I do change it to a 10mm for trips up north, but that's it.

I've been carrying my Sig 1911 for over 10 months now and I expect it will stay indefinitely.

Fell in love with a Kahr PM9, bought it when I got my plastic in '04 and it's been my EDC ever since ... I have a few other guns I carry occasionally, but day in and day out, the PM9 has been on my belt or in my pocket ... hundreds of rounds through it with no failures of any kind, very accurate at SD distances, why change?

Hard Headed
I am not one that's comfortable with change, especially when it comes to carry guns. A shooting situation is no time to familiarize oneself with a new weapon. I changed sidearms in 2000 when I retired from the service, haven't changed since.

Mine's been a Glock 26 for the past 2 1/2 years (which is about the same length of time I've had my ccw permit), I just can't bring myself to carry anything else.
I carry it everyday in a CrossBreed QuickClip holster. Man, I love it!

I carried a CZ 82 for 2 yrs, great gun, but to heavy and bulky. Switched to a Taurus PT709 slim and I'm very happy . This weapon is excellent when you practice with it .(Forget that low left nonsense) No problems at all. Rides well in all CC situations.

Kahr MK9 for about 4-5yrs. Wanted more POW'R and rounds available so upgraded to a G27. Been carrying that one 3yrs. It doesn't feel any heavier than the Kahr. I think it's "the one". Regards,

I got my carry license in the fall of 2008 and had my Glock 29 ready to be my carry gun. Stoked with 175 grain Winchester Silvertip, I carried it for a year in a cheap Uncle Mike's IWB holster before I upgraded to a KHolster IWB.
I'm still using the KHolster IWB and I'm still carrying the Glock 29 more than 4 years later. I did recently change to Buffalo Bore 180 grain JHP, but the pistol & holster is the same. I am not interested in changing my setup or routine. Because it is relevant, when I am headed somewhere that I cannot legally take my carry gun with me (like a sporting event or some such place), anywhere that my carry gun will be left in the car for an extended period -- I do not take my G29. Instead, I take a Ruger P-95 which I rarely will carry on my person. It makes the trip so that I have a gun with me, but then it gets left in the car to be stolen.

Glock 21 for as long as I've been 21, though at times work required me to carry something different. (M-9 Beretta or a Smith & Wesson Military and Police loaded with snake shot)

I carred
A 1911 for years when I was in Law enforcement.
After 17 years as a reserve Deputy Sheriff and I was a Paramedic for the department the 1911 never got in my way. Now I carry a Glock 17 Gen 1 just because I had it and didn't need to buy anything else. I do have 40+ magazines for it put thousands of rounds through it. No problems. Ed

I carried a 1911 full size for 8 years. Then I carried a Bersa Thunder 45 UC for 5 years. Carried a M&P 45 full size for over a year, then got tired of having to add layers of clothing in brutal heat to hide it. Switched to a Glock 26, and P-64 in my pocket. Have had the pocket gun for over 2 years, and will have it till I find a slim light pocket gun at below bargain basement price when I have the cash. Then I will change when it proves to be reliable.
