Stolen rifle

Today I learned that the used .17 caliber rifle i had just bought was stolen and sold to the gun store that i bought it from. The police told me to take it up with the gun store. For all my trouble, they have offered to order me a brand new gun and throw in a new scope for only $80 more. Pretty good deal i think.

That is a pretty good deal. I'm sure they were nervous for selling stolen goods but they probably didn't have anyway of knowing ... right?

Ya the police had to take the gun but the store is giving the money back until they get the knew gun in.
