Where can I get a replacement buffer for an HK MP5 A3? Its an old model and the buffer just disintegrated when I disassembled the weapon. It seems that the buffer was contaminated by oil/lubricant or cleaning solvents.

Thanks in advance.

Direct from HK

Heckler & Koch, Inc.

Sterling, Virginia 20166-8903

BTW, yours is not the first reported here. We have another member whose buffer "melted" away.
