Custom .45 Colt Keith Bullets from Dry Creek
Confirming what some of us had already leaned, Halstead has recently received an endorsement in Handloader Magazine from Brian Pearse who calls the Creeker Bullets the best Keith types he has ever used. I just started working with the 275 RCBS KT and the 265 Grain bullet. Wouldn't know which to favor as most of my groups with each went into my normal-for-this-revolver 1.5- 1.9 inches for five at 25. I used 9 grains of Unique because a lot of people do and selected the .454 diameter because it seemed like the right thing to do.
If pressed, I would probably pick t he 275 grain on general principals and because the flat meplate looks particularly mean. Last edited by mec; August 28, 2010 at 09:23 PM. |

I've used Lynn's 265 Keith's with good results, and I also have used the 205grain H&G which work great in my .45 acp's.
He's also very pleasant to deal with. |
