Ruger Redhawk trigger group pin

Any tips on pulling this pin back so I can release the trigger group? I have used the mainspring lever and a small pair of vise grips but can't seem to get the leverage needed to pull this back. Firearm is new, 400rds. Tried a little oil too

Thanks

Disassembly instruction start on page 20. A "disassembly pin" can be a 1/8" punch.

The trigger group pin is pulled back to using the mainspring housing, punch is used to release the mainspring housing. That I have removed without issue. It is the trigger group I can't get out.

Pulling that pin back far enough is difficult at times. I don't recall exactly what I used or how I did it the last time (It's been several years). I seem to remember that sometimes it's a tight fit of the trigger group inside the frame that is causing the problem. Perhaps try pulling down a little harder toward the rear of the trigger guard.
