Disassembled my 930SPX gas piston..HELP

In my infinite wisdom, I was cleaning my brand new 930SPX and went too far. I took the gas piston apart to clean. I now cannot compress the spring/piston with enough force to thread the end seal back on. Is there a tool for this, or do I need a gunsmith?
