Benelli M1S90 - Question on reassembly
I ordered a large head safety from Brownells to install on my M1S90, and in the process of disassembly of the trigger group, have managed to dislodge a small wire spring.
It is on the right side of the trigger group, is held in place by one of the two small pins that hold the trigger in the assembly (the forward pin captures the coils) with a .5" projection to the rear and 1.5" projection to the front. I can't figure out where the front projection goes, i.e., what does it provide a "spring" for ???? In addition, does anyone know how to remove the existing safety, so I can install the new oversized unit ? Thanks for the help !! |
