Bulgarian 7.62x54r ...
SOG has Bulgarian 7.62x54r surplus on sale and says it's not corrosive. Can anyone here back that up or are they just saying that?
Not that it matters but I'd expect it to be corrosive if it's the old stuff. It comes in the 440rd spam tin but they don't tell you when it was manufactured... |

It does in fact state non corrosive. I would call them and ask about the manufacture date. It may be non corrosive if it is new, which is unlikely. It may be a typo. If it is surplused Bulgarian 7.62x54R it is corrosive.

Probably corrosive. If it's the surplus I'm thinking of it is. I have 880 rounds sitting on the floor next to my chair here. Not sure if it's from Bulgaria (where factor "C" was) but the stuff I have, in 440 round tins, is corrosive.

It says their surplus Bulgarian 5.45x39 7n6 is non-corrosive also?!
Me thinks they are detarded a little. |
