Parts availability...and price gouging?
Looking for AR parts, and seems like everyone is sold out of darn near everything. And, I understand that with increased demand comes higher prices but...seems like some companies are taking advantage and overpricing.
Maybe I'm wrong, maybe this is what prices are gonna be now but...$210 for a Toolcraft BCG and $120 for stripped Anderson upper at TomsTactical (where I've purchased from many times in the past) seems excessive. Your thoughts?

I haven't priced a BCG lately but I noticed uppers had doubled (or more) in price when I looked, and that was in October. Doesn't surprise me with, what's likely, a bunch of new AR owners out there gobbling up parts and willing to pay whatever the going rate is. Mostly because they have no reference as to what a 'toolcraft BCG' (insert almost any part) would normally sell for. For myself I've only bought items that were on sale and/or at least the same price or lower than what I would've paid a year ago. What's amounted to a couple of barrels and some optics.

You're about two days late for the sale, but PSA has the Toolcraft BCG in stock for $169:

It isn't excessive; it is what the market says is acceptable. With the possibility of Joe making things either illegal or NFA, some companies might be looking at a last hurrah if they only make AR components.

I think you'll find the 'supply' is lower too. Lotta the plants aren't working due to the Covid Panic.
Anderson Manufacturing is saying their demand is up so their shipping is slower. They want $70 for a stripped receiver they'll sell you direct. "...companies are taking advantage and overpricing..." Yep. Prices in Wally World for TP have increased by the manufacturers packaging smaller quantities for the same price.

AO precision 223/5.56 BCG for $139 at least it's in stock and this place usually ships in 2-3 days
