Savage 24V firing pin

I have a Savage 24V, it's a .30-30/20 gauge. I haven't shot it in quite some time. I took it to the range yesterday and the rifle barrel would not fire. I took it apart and the pin part of the firing pin is broke, and missing. I was luckily able to find the spring in the gun. Numrich is sold out for the firing pin. Is my only option to get one made by a gunsmith?

.

For the FP, I would try Jack First Gunshop, 1201 Turbine Dr, Rapid City, SD - (tel 605-343-9544).
