I love my P2000SK 9MM but a pocket pistol it ain't. Good luck though in your search, I would go sw 642 or ppk. I know neither are 9mm but they're close enough. If your wanting a pocket gun then distance isn't a priority and both guns have below average sights. Good luck again.

I've been carrying a P2000SK 40 in a pocket all week. Looking for a .357 Sig barrel for it.
Also discovered the Sig P224, again kinda big but possible in baggy pants. |

380 ACP in a Ruger LCP or similar or 380, Colt Mustang or Sig P238, or alloy frame five shot S&W, Taurus, or Ruger LCR. Even with the new rash of Mini Nines, the 9MM is still too big and too heavy for pants pocket carry. IMHO
However they shine for IWB.

In regards to the OP's criteria , to have any possable answer , you will need to be very flexable as to what constitutes Pocket Carry.
It hasn't been mentioned yet , but the S&W M3913 popularized the concept of minimum end of Compact blending into Sub-Compact 9mm in this country, and even was issued by a fair number of LE agencies as BUG or plainclothes gun. Back in the day , it was frequently pointed out as being similar ht and length as Det Spl , but thinner. Otherwise , you will have to compromise , and consider DAO guns. The KelTec P11 is marginally pocketable. For a short time they were also offered in .40 and .357Sig. They didn't sell well , and the factory discontinued , admitting they were all but uncontrolable. |
