KiK Black Powder
Well, I have just about depleted my pound of Goex 3f. My LGS (BP specialty store) had no Goex in 3f -- their last shipment was KiK BP. I had not heard of the brand. Apparently it is made in Slovenia. Well, I picked up a pound. Looking over various internet posts, BP shooters are pretty pleased with the KiK powder. Any thoughts on accuracy, reliablility, price with regard to Kik ??
Thanks. David |

I've used it in the past with good results. As I recall, it was pretty much the equivalent of Goex; but was a little cleaner and lower cost.

Several of the Long range BPCR guys use it....it is known to be pretty good powder. Many say that Swiss is the only powder that is better and many would argue that Swiss may not be as good as KiK.
The new Old Eynsford has gotten some pretty good reviews also. Depends on what you are doing with it..but if it is just going into cap&ball revolvers or Hawken style guns...I can't see any reason to use expensive powder. If you are trying to score good hits/groups at 800-1200yards...then the powder needs to be the best available IMO

It shoots well in my C-Sharps 40-65 and Browning BPCR. Using 2f.
