Need identification help for Mossberg pistol grip shotgun stock

I have a Mossberg fixed pistol grip shotgun stock. I am confused about what model shotgun it goes to and would appreciate some help, please. The package it comes in reads "Mossberg Full Stock Fixed SHT-572." However, when I do a search for Mossberg 572 or SHT-572, I come up empty. I've attached photos. Thanks for any and all help!

Added info on Mossberg Shotgun stock

Don't know it this will help, but the shotgun stock itself reads Moss. and there's a "Black Warrior" symbol on it.

I believe the SHT-572 is likely the manufacturer's model number for the stock you have there. It's not a Mossberg Model number.

The good news is that the Mossberg models 500, 590, and 835 all take the same buttstock so it's likely that what you have there will fit any of the 3. Looks like it to me anyway.

Scroll down to "black warrior" model.

One I'd never heard of.

Mossberg Shotgun stock

Thanks Rantingredneck! I never would've found that. And I see right below it on the website is a synthetic forend, and I have one of those in a separate package- just didn't know what it was called. It says it's for a Mossberg/Winchester 1200/1300 Pistol Grip and Forearm Set. Do you think it might go with the Mossberg Black Warrior gun stock?

Possibly. There's a possible catch though when it comes to Mossberg forends.

Sometime in the mid 90's (I think) they changed the length of the action slide (the metal part that resides under the wood/synthetic forearm). This creates all kinds of havoc with folks who buy forends for their mossberg shotguns only to find out that they have the wrong forend length.

IIRC, if your serial number is below K850XXXX you have the old style longer forend tube.

www.havlinsales.com has some info posted on this with instructions on how to measure.

They're also great to deal with for all things mossberg.

Hmmm, do you mean a serial number on the forend itself? There aren't any numbers on it.

No, serial number on the mossberg shotgun itself. Serial number range dictates whether it has an old style 7 5/8" action slide or new style 6 1/2"

If you go to the havlin website and click on modern shotgun parts they've got a visual of the difference in the parts.

Mossberg Shotgun stock

Thanks so much for your help. I got on the Black Warrior.com website and looked at some photos. They show some forends and also a tactical heat shield. Mine looks more like the heat shield.

BTW, I don't have the shotgun, just these parts I need to sell once I know for sure what model they belong to.
