.30-06 Ammo?

What's a good place to get .30-06 ammo on the cheap? Best I've found is Georgia Arms at $175/100 rds, but it's the 'accu-tip' stuff and I really don't need that just to blow off at the range. I'm not above military surplus, in fact for the .30-06, most of the time I prefer it.

I'm not sure what military surplus goes for, but for hunting type ammo the Federal Power Shok for $14 for 20 rounds at Walmart is about the cheapest I've found.

I bought a bunch of HSM from Cabela's for about a buck a bullet.
I bought some Federal vshock? for my final sighting and hunting. They group identically at 100/200 yards.

I practice with .22s.

wolfrage,

THAT is exactly what I'm looking for, thank you. I found stuff like that, in the bandoliers and packs, at a gunstore once and wished I'd bought more (It was like 64 rounds for $12).

I started reloading .30-06 because I hated waiting on surplus shipments. Its rather easy, and startup costs can be made back after a few hundred rounds.
