Interesting Glock 30...

I bought a used Glock 30 today with a pretty neat S.N. - CYC000US.

Could this be the 1st third generation Glock 30 produced in the U.S.? Brief research shows that it very well could be. CYC means it was produced in November 1998. The October 1998 Glock 30s(that I've researched) seem to be generation 2.5.

This is my first Glock and thought it was odd to stumble upon a S.N. like this one.
