Got it!

So, the Griswold I ordered (.44, not .36) came in. I was really surprised when I opened the box. It was from around 1975, imported by Navy Arms and had never been fired. The owner had bought it, mounted it on a plaque and displayed it. The only mark on it was put there by me when I broke it down to inspect and clean it.

It must have the heaviest hammer spring I have ever encountered and one of the lightest triggers. It is pretty gorgeous. Tolerances are like new

I bought it for $150.00 and I am really pleased.

I think...

....that Navy Arms was importing from ASP at that time.

Prolly pretty good quality.

Nice price too.

Congrats.
