G19g3 FTfd,nu

I bought this pistol new a couple yrs ago.

It has intermittently had FTfd,nu stoppages, 21 in all, from early on.

7279 rds. total.
Six different brands of ammo, 115g, 124g, different mags, 21 of these FTfd,nu.
That is, it's likely the gun itself.

Just got back from the range and had 3 more (out of 50 rds) using 115g Geco JHP - picture attached.

Previous FTfds had the unfired rd. at around 45 degrees versus 90 degrees with the Geco.

These have happened during fast fire, and slow fire - these last 3 occurred during slow fire.
They've happened with round nose and HPs.

I quick clean it every range visit, field strip every 500 rds.

Any ideas?

That does not look like a Glock magazine. Have the problems occurred with more than one magazine?

FTfds w/ glock and pmags.

Call Glock. Geco is good quality ammo and you shouldn't be having failures like that, assuming the pistol is properly lubricated/maintained.

Also... What's going on with that magazine?

could be a worn spring

Let me butt in here and try an answer (apologies to OP)
FTfd means 'Failure to Feed' and he wrote it that way so we wouldn't confuse it with 'Failure to Fire' and I applaud him for this because it removes the confusion when folk just use FTF and we're left not knowing what they mean.

Let me see if I have this. You shoot the gun. It cycles. Instead of the next round going into the chamber it ends up between the slide and barrel hood pointing up. Correct? And it has been happening since it was new. Correct? With multiple magazines and multiple brands of ammunition. Correct?

If it were my gun, I would check:
Is my extractor assembly clean, lubed, and working correctly (springs out and snaps back freely)?
Are my magazines clean and free of all lube?
Is my recoil spring totally shot and letting the slide slam rearward when the gun cycles?

If the three above didn’t get me anywhere I would have to break it down next another G19 and start looking at and measuring parts. (remember “if it were my gun”). If I were you, at that point I would call Glock.

There could be one more possible contributing factor, but it would be insensitive to mention it. And since you have quite a few rounds through the gun it’s not likely anyway.

nu = nose up

Use unaltered Glock mags and an unaltered Glock recoil spring.
