J.stevens 32 Long

A friend asked me to find out what this is.Marked J.STEVENS 32 long,It's a falling block round bbl.20-22" #719 A&T company ?

It's a singleshot rifle made by the J. Stevens Arms Works.

Stevens was absorbed by Savage Arms early in the 20th century, and they kept the Stevens name on some of the guns.

It could be a rimfire, or it could be a centerfire. The only way to tell is to look at the breechblock.
