Canadian gun law interview

I was listening to this today and it struck me how fortunate we are to have the second amendment and our constitution written the way they are and that most states are sane in their approach to the owning and bearing of arms. There's also a word of warning that we remain vigilant and try to beat down any attempt to model Canadian firearm laws.

It's a long interview and I didn't listen to all of it (yet) but it seems like some of those Canadians play fast and loose with the law.

One item that was mentioned: The Canadian authorities arrest someone for something and find out they have a gun permit but their spouse does not. They go to the spouse's home and ask to see the gun. If the spouse shows it to them then they arrest the spouse for having access to a firearm without having the permit. Then they go to the original bad guy and offer to drop the charges on the spouse if they plead guilty to the charge for which they originally arrested them.

It was an interesting video.
