Remington Model 1858 Army - Confirmation

I recently received a revolver from a family member. I don’t have any experience with firearms of this age. Per my couple hours of research, I believe it to be a Remington Model 1858 Army (.44). I’d appreciate the assistance with confirming the model and date information. It is not a family piece, so I will likely look to sell it. Recommendations on good avenues for selling would also be appreciated. My research has revealed a wide range of valuation, so any insight there would also be a plus. Thank you for letting me lean on your expertise.

Josh

It was made in Dec of 1864. I'd say a real world value in the shape it's in would be around 900.00. You might get more by putting it on one of the auction sites.
