I have the Stoney Point modified case on order, but I can't wait. Can anyone tell me how much freebore there is in this factory rifle....that is, will I be able to reach the lands without the bullet falling out of the case or hanging on by its lips? |

Longshotmcsc, it can vary a bit. The easiest way to find out without the gage is to load a dummy round a little long, either smoke the bullet or paint it with a felt tip, dykem blue, etc., and chamber it. You'll see where the rifling begins to touch. George
