SB Tactical™ Announces Reversal of ATF Open Letter on the Use of SB Tactical Pistol Stabilizing Brac
The new clarification of opinion letter states, “an NFA firearm has not necessarily been
made when the device is not re-configured for use as a shoulder stock – even if the attached firearm happens to be fired from the shoulder https://www.sb-tactical.com/wp-conte...Position-1.pdf |

The shoulder brace/shoulder stock is one of the regulations I really, really wish would go away.
The thing is, putting one on a handgun makes the handgun HARDER to conceal. I can't understand even ardent anti-gun folk having a justification for this rule. I really think suppressors and shoulder stocks for handguns would NOT change the dynamic of 'gun violence' even a little bit. And who knows, there IS some movement for allowing suppressors in the works. (And could the ATF please leave off with the double negatives?) |
