Ours or Theirs?? Korean war question
But not the usual kind I could answer, so I'm asking here if anyone knows...
When the Canadians sent troops to Korea, did they use "their own" Commonwealth small arms, or did they use US supplied small arms?? Did they carry their SMLE's or use US Garands?? Some of the UN forces used US equipment, some did not Some used US vehicles. a friend has photos of Turks carrying M1 Garands in Korea. Anybody know what the Canadian forces used? (not what was their standard issue arms, but what was actually used?)
