New Diamondback SDR

Looks like they copied Kimber's homework, but for $200 less it might be a winner if they can compete with the wonderful Kimber trigger.

DB makes about the worst 9mm gun in production right now and Taurus helped fire a lot of employees before themselves dumping their cooperation.

I'd recommend extreme caution. Nothing in their current line has changed since Taurus dropped them but the Sidekick

Please resize the image. It's far too big to fit on even a 27-inch monitor.

Resize code: https://thefiringline.com/forums/mis...=bbcode#resize. It's hardly intuitive in BB.

Thank you, Zoomie.
SSS, I took the liberty of adding a resize code to what I hope is big enough to show the gun well but small enough that most people will be able to see it without scrolling.

A feature I really like is there is a push button on the other side for taking the crane out of the frame for easy cleaning. I'll reserve judgement until I see some solid reviews.

If this pans out to be a good revolver and they add a 3” barrel I’ll definitely be on board. Looks wise and feature wise it ticks all my boxes.

Bought one of their Sidekick revolvers when they first came out - it came with both .22LR and .22Mag cylinders and was SA/DA. The trigger should be mandatory to enter a strongman contest! Incredibly heavy and difficult to operate. If this new revolver has the same trigger system, good luck...

The website says the trigger is non-stacking in the 9-11.5lb range.

They are obviously competing with the K6S so the trigger must be up to par if they want this to sell.

Rimfire also requires a heavier spring than center fire.

I do enjoy my Kimber K6S and this looks a lot like it. I will wait and see the reviews on this one.

Not commented, that's a super odd rear sight?

There's a better picture on their website, it appears to be drift adjustable for windage, and has the fiber optic in it, so that viewed from the rear, you see the orange front dot flanked by two green dots.

Looks like a fake fixed sight. I'm sure others have seen that, but I know I haven't

It looks like a pretty decent sight to me.

The grips take any J frame round butt grip. That gives us many options.
