2transams

I Had Offered $100 For 250rds Of 9mm Hollow Point Ammo, Which Included Shipping. 2transams Said He'd Take It The $100. Never Heard From Him In 3 Days. Know I Found Out Today He Sold It To Someone Else. I Lost Out Not 1, But 2 Deals Because Of Him. Way To Go, Pal. 2 Thumbs Down For This Guy!

Oh really?

Hey now, I just found this little post today. I never accepted your offer, and I'd like you to prove that I did. I had it sold on TheHighRoad before you even made me an offer (of $100, which was my asking price).

I don't post here often...but I gotta speak up for 2transams.

I have sold a few things on forums before...when the items are listed on multiple forums things can get pretty confusing in a hurry...for all parties involved.

I sold some 25-06 brass a while back...I listed it on 4 forums (bad mistake on my part), I honestly didn't think it would be that much of a "hot item"...in the end I had to sort through dozens of PM's on all 4 forums trying to figure out who was first in line. I finally said "the heck with it" and sent it to my old friend down in Texas (Longtooth).

2transams is a good guy...he would not intentionally do what you accused him of.

Besides...its not like he took your $$$ and never sent the ammo...he simply sold it to the first to say "money order on the way"...same as anybody else would do.

Well thank you for the good word sir.
I too have done several transactions w/ 2TAs on several boards. Mod w/ him on one.

What he says is good. Anyone who wants to buy from him, sell to him, or trade w/ him can do it w/ confidence & I have been around a lot longer than Ridgerunner just dont post a lot here due to Mod responsibilities on 2 Boards.

I've dealt with 2TA's on a number of different issues, and he's ALWAYS been a stand up guy with nothing but courteous and timely replies, and concern that all is being taken care of properly. Always as honest as the day is long. I have to believe your situation is at most the result of crossed signals. 2TA's has a large presence on a number of boards and I simply can't believe that he would put his sterling and rock solid reputation at risk over $100 worth of anything, or $100,000 worth of anything for that matter.

Now You Want To Get Find All My Deleted Mail You Sent Me? Thats Pretty Bad To Agree On A Deal For Ammo, Then Tell Me You Sold It To Someone Else. I Lost On Your Ammo & Lost Out On The Other Ammo Deal. Plus Losing Out Lost Wages From Work & To Go Back To Bank To Cancel The Cashiers Check. You Say 1 Thing, Then Say Another.

Yes. I want you to post all of our correspondence, if you still have it. If not, I still have all of our PM's and will be glad to make them public if you like. You never committed to buy it and I never said that I would sell it to you.

And how did you get a cashier's check if you don't even know my name? And how did you know whether or not I would even accept a cashier's check? You never asked me. I call BS. Post your receipt.

1enforcer has decided to make this public. I know 2transams, and he is a man of his word. The internet being the medium of instant communication, I would always wait for a PM from a seller that my offer to buy was accepted because we often list items on numerous boards and the item may indeed be sold. I suggest that 1enforcer either put up or shut up...

That being said, this should have been taken care of through the PM system.

Also, 1enforcer, it is kinda hard to take you seriously when you misuse capital letters...

I give 1enforcer a "thumbs down" for being a sore loser and another "thumbs down" for his/her poor writing style.

My popcorn has gotten cold...

1enforcer called 2transams out (publicly)...where I come from that means "whatever you get...you asked for it"....win, lose, or draw.

That said...it would be nice to see this get worked out in a civil manner.

2TA would never be unfair in any situation. This must be a misunderstanding.

He's not capitalizing every word, he's typing in all caps.

If you type in a message in all caps, the forum software automatically "decapitalizes" all but the first letter of each word. However, if you include even one lowercased letter in your post it will leave it as typed.

So a post consisting of:
NOW IS THE TIME FOR ALL GOOD MEN.
would come out:
Now Is The Time For All Good Men.
While a post consisting of:
NOW IS THE TiME FOR ALL GOOD MEN.
Would be left unchanged.

Back on topic.

This appears to be an "I said/you said" situation and both parties have had their say so I don't see any point in leaving the thread open. If either one of the two primary participants wishes to post additional information they can PM me and I'll re-open the thread.
