Tried to remove the extension and had no luck getting it to budge. Watched some videos and tried using a vise grip. No luck. Tightened it down harder, nope, but I did succeed in mashing the Glock 43 magazine.
It seems as if the extension rides higher on the mag than the regular base plate. So, you can't really push in at the bottom. By having to go higher, I damaged the mag. Took it to the range today. I could only get 6 loaded instead of the 8. And it didn't feed the last round. Which is why I was removing it to begin with. Surprised that it still worked at all. |
