How rare is this?

My dad just bought a Richland Arms 1851 Navy .44 Carbine the other day and I was wondering how rare it is and what might it be worth? It has the removeable stock that hooks to the pistol grip. I believe it has a 12 or 14 inch barrel. I have only seen one other BP pistol that looks like it.

It looks something like this, but with longer barrel

So, how rare and valuable?

The Colt factory built a long barreled navy with stock and a peep sight mounted on the barrel and extending back over the cylinder. It was sold in 1885 along with other obsolete inventory.
