2 deputies shot at my local range...

I posted a thread about it in Gen Dis section about a shooting today at my local gun range. Until recently it was only a clays range but now has pistol and rifle "tubes" of concrete culvert to shoot thru. I am not sure at all of the details as it only happened a few hours ago.
We will see if the shooter was on the range or field later I guess...

OH he sure got the loud end of service weapons...
Quote:
Cartwright swerved to avoid a spike strip placed on the highway near U.S. 331, and a deputy opened fire on the truck and the truck flipped, Spooner said.

Cartwright began shooting at deputies from inside his vehicle, Nicholson said.

Witnesses said Cartwright then got out of the truck and continued firing at the deputies.

Deputies returned fire, killing him, Spooner said.

"Many, many, shots were fired in DeFuniak," Spooner said.
This may be tuff for the range to survive. It is a family type place and has recently new management. The fact that it was the location of a deadly shooting of 2 officers may actually be enuff to put them under.

Why is this posted under Shotguns? Surely it can't be because this occurred at a range allowing shotguns. Why is it posted in two threads?

Actually I posted a heads up here as it was at the ONLY sporting clays range in the vicinity!
WHY ASK WHY? Drink Bud dry...
I will delete the one in Gen Dis if you prefer, boss?

+1 DNS

I thought I was seeing things, there is another thread on this. Perhaps the mods can merge the threads?
