Mod Contact

What is the best way to contact Mod's discreetly?

I really like TFL, and appreciate the hard work and dedication the mods put in. However, occasionally something happens and I would like to notify a mod. I find out who's online for that forum. Then what? A post is OT, and could make a troll or flamewar really ugly.

Do I send a PM? An email? One of content, and one in reference to the other? Smoke signals?

Thanks, and keep up the good work!

A PM will usually do the trick. If the mod is online when you send it, the response could be much faster than it would be with an email. The opposite is probably true if the mod is not online.

Also, if you have a concern about a specific post you can click on the triangle/exclamation point icon in the lower left corner of the post to notify all the mods of the subforum that contains the post.
