browning light 20

i have the opportunity to buy a browning light 20 made in japan in 99%. while looking at the barrel there is a slight bulge/ring half way down. i rubbed my finger across the barrel and could not feel a bulge. the seller wants 350.00. is this a great deal even if i have to find a new barrel. thanks in advance.

Nope. Don't get it. Buying a new barrel will set you back more than you could get a good used one for. I wouldn't take my chances on a bulged barrel either. Sounds like someone shot it with a wad of mud in the bore.

I assume your talking about an A5?

If so, you'll probably spend another $350 on a barrel. 20's can cost a lot more than that but don't always. It may be an ok deal but is not necessarily a great one...
