I have not heard of a solid frame SA 22.
I could not find any mention of an F prefix serial number on the Browning site or anywhere else. Is yours a US Browning or a home market FN? |

Mine is FN. I have never seen one before, but was told that FN made these guns before 1956 for sale in Europe and before Browning imported them into the US.It is very hard to find any info. on these, but I was able to find where one sold a few years ago.Browning does not have any info available on these guns and I was told to go to Browning International, which I have and still cannot find any answers. The gun is legit!!

They're fun little critters to shoot. FirstWife gave me her upscale version, a gift from her parents in the 1950s.

Does anybody know how to get an answer from FN or how to get a e-mail to them?
