First load workup AR15 223, opinions? - Page 2

Alright, this has moved from my home defense boom stick to my range/varmint toy. I got a 12ga for the defense part, just gonna use that I imagine. Also, the SA 1911, the Glock and other assortments of defensive things to make do. I haven't had much time to develop those heavier loads yet, been converting some 30-06 to 7.7 Jap for a friend, IDK why he loves that type99 arisaka but he gave me some dies in return for some rounds. I'm going to put on a new low profile gas block and handguard tonight on the PA15. Also gonna try grinding the sharp edge off a problematic locking lug, as it likes to bite my case necks.
