If new AWB + other laws passed, what next?
Are guns and the 2nd Amendment in America finished? The problem is, I see the de facto end of civilian gun ownership soon after. The nation is going left at a startling pace, and a message will be sent that every time there's some sort of shooting, that the reasonable course of action is to ban guns and tighten ownership requirements on whatever is left. If our laws resemble that of Canada in 10 years, I think we could probably consider that good fortune, as they could also be more like that of Australia.

We have quite a few gun law threads going. With no foul - let's confine ourselves to one of those.
