CZ 75 B (In high polish stainless)
Hello all,
I put some money down on a new CZ 75 B high polish stainless. I didnt have the funds to buy it and take her home, but Im about halfway done in making payments. I have had a few guns in my hand, but NOTHING feels like a CZ 75 B. It has the normal factory black plastic grips and looks great. But I was wondering if some wood grips or pearl (type) grips wouldnt look even better. MY concern is that I dont want anything that will give it any slippery feel and make it harder to shoot. I know its a 9 and doesnt kick alot, but it would be nice if she was dressed up a bit. Any suggestions or stories (or pics) would be appreciated. Thanks... Ed |

I replaced my stock plastic grips on my 75B with rubber grip panels from CZ. They don't slip, and work well.

Wow.....such pretty wooden grips. Rubber is nice since it wont slip at all. Checkered can reduce any possible slippage, but those wooded ones are nice. The Cocobolos are very nice AND are checkered.
Hopefully the pic attached. I have never attached a photo on here yet. I have more feelings for this gun that I ever had for my ex wife.....LOL BTW, the gun isnt home yet. This is just a pic I took at the gun shop... |

Those look rubber which is standard on the SS CZ's. I just picked up a matte SS. I also thought about some cocobolo's but the rubber grips are so effective and feel good in your hand. 1st time shooting will be today.

I think CZ is really missing the point of a high polish stainless gun by putting rubber grips on it. A beauty like that needs some pretty grips.

yeah the cz custom shop coco-bolo half checkered grips are awesome. the full checkered just doesn't give the same feel. the rubber ones are a really nice improvement over the stock plastic. i have the rubber on my 75b, the half checkered on my pcr, and the full checkered on my sp01 shadow custom.

Y'all are producing some considerable CZ envy in me. These are some beautiful guns. I'm new to handguns, but I've never heard a bad thing about a CZ from a CZ owner. Correct me if I'm wrong. (OK, maybe a few have wished they were less expensive so they could buy more of them -- put me in that category.)

You won't hear any complaints from me about any of my CZs... and I have 3 of them so far (83, 75B, and P-01)... beautiful, reliable guns.
...though I may have to look into some of the Custom Shop half-checkered grips, they look sharp. |

Ive seen some BEAUTIFUL pearl grips that would look great on my high polish CZ 75B. Not sure if they will feel slippery at all, but she doesnt kick much and muzzle flip is negligible. So pearl may be fine..
BTW, I do not have these yet but found this pic online |

Excellerator that polished up CZ is GEORGEOUS....I think you have convinced me to push that to the top of my wish list. Fired a CZ 75 last year and LOVED it.
