In General Discussions someone started a thread titled NRA and after 1 post it was closed, No explanation, why was it closed?

The OP asked a question, and the first reply directed him to a long-running thread dealing with the subject he asked about. There was nothing to discuss after that. Also, we try to limit discussion of such topics to a single thread; this saves everyone's time and effort.
