Point and shoot

I recently watched a video on youtube with a guy using his middle finger to pull the trigger and index finger to point. Does anyone think this is the best method? Should I practice like that or keep using my index finger and just point my index before I embrace the trigger?

Which method do the police use?

Keeping using your index finger...As far as which does the police use? They all use their index finger. If this is the video that I am thinking of, by the same person who spouts this, please take it with a huge grain of salt please...

The one exception I ever saw was a person who had lost his index finger (most of it anyway) in an accident, he was able to adapt and overcome.

Not a very good idea with long fingers and a revolver.

I also seen on tv once a man who was born with no arms held gun with feet and shot that way. I also wouldn't shoot that way unless I had too.
