I am not afraid to brag. Anonynmity be damned. I've got 28 handguns, from .22 lr to .50 A.E., with more on the way! I have a handgun "gotta get it" list with at least twenty more guns on it. Some are, admitedly, duplicates of what I have already, but hey, Who's quibbling? Adding the guns that I am merely interested in doubles the size of that list in a heartbeat. I am a hopeless collector.

Ditto regarding anonymity. I have two right now, with eyes on a third, and ultimately, I have no qualms about owning as many guns as I damned well please, to hell with the liberals who want to take them away.

Put me down for 17. And the thing I really can't explain, 10 of them are .380's.

I have 19 including rifles. They range from an NAA .22 mini to the Cadillacs of my collection, a Walther P88 and a factory nickle Sig P220. Calibers range from .22lr to .45acp.

This year will be a lean one for pistols. My goal is to zero balance all my debts. Oh, alright, there'll be one or two...

I'll chime in for 17 too.Ya see here in okie-ville you're not considered a resident unless you have a "cache or stockpile of weapons".Any less and people look upon you as poor white trash
I'm a collector of Beretta 1919's and 1934's

".Any less and people look upon you as poor white trash "

I got me a cache of weapons, and a real set of WOODEN steps to replace the cinder blocks at my trailer door. I'm officially rich white trash.

I find it interesting that two people responded to this poll who don't own any handguns. Makes you wonder what they're doing here.

Well, I don't have any, but I'm pretty interested in tem. The reason I haven't bought one yet is Colorado's age limit on handgun possession without an adult. It'll be another 2 1/2 years before I can shoot a handgun without a supervising adult. So for the time being I'm buying rifles instead.

I currently have only 2. I had 3 but I sold one, and traded another for my 1911. If you count my blackpowder Remington revolver I have 3 and I once had 4. However, I've only been shooting for a little more than a year and I bought my first a year ago so I don't think I'm that far behind. I will be getting 2-4 before July and probably a couple more after that. After this year I will have caught up a little so I may slow down a bit so I can pay off my credit cards .

I don't own any, partly because of age restrictions and partly because of financial restrictions. Paying tuiton and living on mimimum wage plus a bit is pretty difficult.

And since I've been hanging around here (because y'all are a wonderful source of information and entertainment, Dave! ) I have aquired, um, rather expensive tastes. So when I buy, I'll have to buy big.

Two fewer than I had on Friday . . .

. . . but I'd rather have the Bushmaster Carbine that I traded them for!

"Just your typical vegetarian, Buddhist, pistol packing NRA Member."

Wow, and I thought that I was the only gun-owning herbivore in the world! Anyways....

I own only one gun and that is a Bryco/Jennings 9mm, purchased thanks in large part due to a strong recommendation from a buddy of mine (one who obviously doesn't know what characteristics to look for in a handgun.) I bought this little gem with my student loan money (a government subsidized gun purchase! heh...), and in hindsight, I wish I would have purchased a Makarov. Oh well, when you know better then you do better...

I have 3 pistols and one revolver.
Glock35 .40, CZ75ST IPSC .40, Star S.I. .32ACP (from 1933) and a S&W 29-4 (you know the caliber). All guns are used for competition, I doubt I would ever have to use them for anything else... (though I would not hesitate in the case of some life threathening situation should arise)
