Belt Fed 12-ga Update?
Does anyone know whatever happened to this belt-fed 12-ga upper?
It was discussed back in '09 here on TFL but I haven't seen anything sense. As I have an M16 inbound, I'd very much be interested in getting one just for grins and giggles. Mounting it on my Gator Mule would totally revolutionize my efforts to rid my ranch of jackrabbits.

Interesting although I won't be buying one. Looking at his youtube channel he is distributing another product through the following webpage:http://sbdmfg.com/SBD_Mfg.php
May be able to to get some info from them. |

Great, I'll have to hit them up and ask them what's the status.
But as a curiosity, as the barrel is under 18 inches and on a machine gun it's clearly legal, as a machine gun isn't an SBS. However, what if you put that same upper on an SBR? Can an SBR have a short-barreled shotgun upper on it and still be legal?

knowing how the ATF ruled on the XMG beltfed upper, I doubt they would allow this thing on a transferable M16 lower.
Not sure how they would see it on a SBR. It would be fun!

I'd forgotten about the XMG and those RPD and SAW style belt-fed uppers for the MAC-10 that came out back in the early 2000's only to be no-go'd.
But apparently there's some belt fed conversions besides the Shrike and those .22LR. This one for the MAC looks pretty cool. But I still want a 12-guage belt-fed upper to go skeet shooting and rabbit hunting with.
