Do the Rem 870 Police models have the same magazine follower as the express model?

If the follower is different, where can they be purchased?

All Remington shotguns use the same magazine follower.

They put the same follower in the Express, Wingmaster, Police, and the 1100 and 1187.

If you want a "better" follower, the one made by Tactical Response is good, and the Choate is well-proven over many years.

The Express models of the last several years have used a follower with a groove in each side to clear the dimples in the magazine tube. I have seen some Police models with the same follower, and some with followers missing the grooves. If you are looking for a follower for an Express, a tactical follower can be made to fit pretty easily if you don't get one made of steel.

My newer Express Magnum has the orange plastic one. My older CHP Wingmaster has simple steel cup follower which I like much much better than the plastic one.
