Any IDPA shooters from Central Ohio?
I'm getting bored standing in a booth putting holes in paper. Need some movement, competition. I see Grove City conducts IDPA. Anyone here belong to the club?

Central Ohio Defensive Pistol League shoots the second Saturday of every month. Dec. thru March we shoot indoors in Grove City Ohio, about 15 minutes from downtown Columbus. April thru Nov. we shoot outdoors in Circleville at the Pickaway County Sportsman Club. Thats about 35-45 minutes from downtown.
Two weeks ago we had 28 shooters shoot 4 stages. Here's the web site with directions and match scores. http://defensivepistol.org/ |

klewis,
Thanks. I think I'll make a drive there and watch. I understand IDPA has had some recent rule changes relating to holsters/magazines, etc. I'd hate to buy something and discover it is illegal.

9mm... If you come to watch, bring your stuff anyway! You may change your mind! Things are pretty relaxed... as long as your holster is on your hip, you will most likely be ok. Bring 3 magazines and a hoder that can hold 2 of them. I guarantee you will have fun!
